I am an art teacher here at Watkinson, and our art students just won 11 Connecticut Scholastic Art Awards! I love teaching at Watkinson because I am free to inspire my students to create high level artwork that express their own ideas and feelings.
if you are possibly coming here because you think this school is so alternative, its not. Some teachers here are great, some just don't want to be here. The classes are pretty standard teaching, nothing that makes it very different than a public school. My experience 3 years ago, was good, nothing amazing...
