Highly recommended! I can say I've never worked with a service center I have liked or done business with twice, nor have ever recommended one in my life, but these guys will gain all my future business simply due to honesty and trust.
This place is awesome! When my transmission went, Paul and his team took care of it in a timely manner and with so much professionalism. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and his customer service is impeccable. I was more than satisfied with the results and would recommend this place to anyone with no hesitation. After my encounter here, its no wonder why this Capital Transmission takes so much pride in their business.
I have a 1969 Chevelle with a TH350 transmission that needed rebuilding. Brian from Capitol Transmission knows cars. He walked me through options and provided a super great price. More importantly, their work is great. He let me see the other cars he was working on and they do all types of transmission work. Not many shops would do that. Most of their cars are newer but they definitely have a mix of old and new. There are not many knowledgeable, reliable and honest shops out there and Capitol Transmission is definitely on that short list of shops. To show you how honest they are, they found some other minor issues with the engine that I would have paid them to repair (valve cover gaskets leaking) but Brian figured out after talking to me I could do it myself. Instead of running up the bill, he told me the issue and let me fix the problem. I would take any car there and know that they are keeping costs down while provided A+ work. If you have any transmission or engine issue, go straight to Capitol Transmission. They are not just transmission specialist. They do it all. Paul and Brian are running a first rate shop.
This business and their team are above any beyond any regular repair center. I expect good service and value no matter where I go but these guys in my first interaction with them show they go above and beyond.
My car was leaking transmission fluid. They took the car evaluated it and fixed it at a very reasonable price. What more could you ask for! Highly recommend for any auto repair.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I drive a Chevy Trailblazer and recently suffered my second blown transmission in less than two years. When I called Capitol, the staff was very courteous, very professional, and highly knowledgeable about what they were doing. They rebuilt my transmission for a reasonable price and guaranteed their work with a three year 100k mile warrantee. My car has not driven as well as it now does since the original transmission came out. I am so satisfied that I personally called them to thanked them for a job well done. It feels like brand new again and I am loving it.
