This stadium, built only a couple of years ago, is an excellent home for the Hartford Yard Goats (I'm still not sure about that name!). The stadium is clean, easy to navigate, and the concession stand food isn't bad. The games themselves are a lot of fun to watch. If you're not into baseball, they put in several side-spectacles that are also entertaining.
This place is a gem. I've worked at several ball parks and this is a great park. The concourse is nice and big so it doesn't feel crowded. The food options are awesome for a small ball park. Good beer choices as well. The sight lines are tremendous, though that should be a given. They make for an entertaining time between innings. Overall, it's a great location off the highway, the energy is good, and it's a fun park to visit.
We had my kids' birthday party here. They were incredible, from Kyle in the office helping us plan, to every smiling face we encountered on the day of the party. My son was SO excited to throw out the first pitch. They are certainly doing it right at this ball field!! Amazing food (we have to go again to try more lol), great beer selection, fun activities for the kids (they got to run all the bases after the game)! Cannot think of one thing that would've made it better.
First time here and I loved it! The stadium was very clean and the seats were comfortable (I sat in right field). The staff was friendly and everything was reasonably priced. The stadium was pretty packed for a Monday night and everyone was excited so it was an overall great time.
Worth the wait!! Been to several games here and can't say enough good stuff...great ticket prices, easy to get to, easy to park, great food and drink that represents the surrounding community, tons of stuff for families or more "upscale" experience and going to great lengths to support local community events and organizations. A real home run!
