This theatre is located in the best little district. Now tgat the college is there, they have added some amazing new eateries. Go to the bbq place! The theatre itself is beautiful. The downstairs bar is less formal, the upstairs is beautiful. The venue is small (500 people) but it's intimate experience is sure to please you. Gorgeous inside!
Like most Mexican restaurant chains, Moe's, Chipolte, the food is counter service. Food wasn't so warm. I got the loaded tortilla soup. Added much salt and chalula to it. My child had the soft taco with hamburger meat. The best tasted smokey. Like the ground beef was actually in a smoker. Wierd.
First experience here for a show was incredible! We arrived early and had some drinks/snacks in the bar before attending the show, and it blew away my expectations in quality and service. Staff was friendly and attentive, the theater was gorgeous and clean, and I had a great time. I am glad there is a venue like this in Hartford that makes seeing live music affordable and fun!
Great venue for music, but menu was just ok. My wife had the margherita flatbread but it had pizza sauce on it when anytime we had one elsewhere it doesn't have the pizza sauce but an olive oil garlic base, croutons in salad were hard as a rock and only one dressing offered. Next time we will eat before we go there.
First time to the Hartford venue. Parking was simple and reasonably priced at $5. Access to the hall from the garage did not expose you to the elements at all. The Bistro is a great idea, although lots of choices in the adjacent restaurants and shops. Didn't try the food but the cocktails were great and reasonably priced. You do have to sometimes struggle to get to the bar but that's normal. A little tight on space but it adds to the energy... overall a terific nignt. I'll definitely see another show there.
