Also this place has zero respect for customer's privacy, if you go here you can expect to find your name and license plate posted publicly on the "Art CInema Info" site. There are a number of people working to close this place down due to the criminal activity that occurs here.

First time here loved it! Wife was a little bit shy at first but she ended up liking it also.Realy liked the couples balcony! Hope to come back some time!
Hartford PD has recently initiated an investigation into the prostitution supported by the Art Cinema staff. Also there are people working with the State of Connecticut health department to shut this place down due to a recent HIV outbreak.

I went for the first time about two weeks ago during the afternoon. I actually enjoyed myself, and the orally talented patrons. I'm bi and really want to check the upstairs out but don't know a female that would be down for that.
In the past there have been reports about arrests made on the premises and each time someone talks about it online the owner threatens with legal action to have it removed, they go out of their way to cover up their legal issues. If you look for it you'll be able to find some of this information which they haven't been able to delete/deny.
I have heard the after party hosted by the gentleman who works behind the counter are worth attending. And hope to be invited to one.
Stay away from this place! As you can somewhat see from the pictures it is a total dump. The 100 year old paint on the ceiling surely is laden with asbestos and lead and I saw several pieces of it fall down one night.
