This Consulate is AWESOME!!! We needed a Brazilian visa super short notice and the only Brazilian consulate that accepts walkins is this one in Hartford. We thought we needed to wait for hours in line but we were in and out in less than 45 mins!!! Everyone was super nice...friendly and made the whole experience something to write this review about!!!!!!!!! If there was a 20 star...they deserve it!!! Bravo:) We flew from Los Angeles btw.
Drove up from NC, Totally worth the drive!!! I didnt have an appointment. Everyone was extremely friendly and patient. The process was very quick and easy. They helped my friend and I understand the process with the required forms--if anything was forgotten, we were given an opportunity to correct and come back to receive visas same day in under an hr!!

Very well organized and efficient office. Staff was nice and I got in and out in an hour with a tourist visa. If you are on a schedule and need to walk in, show up at least a half our early, they open at 8 for walk ins.
What an easy experience. I have wanted to visit Brazil for so long and the opportunity came up that my son and I could visit. But the timing made the normal process of mailing in paperwork fro a visa impossible. I first dealt with Alessandra Ozimkoski over the phone who walked me through all the paperwork that I would need, answering all my questions. So off I went in a plane from North Carolina to Hartford for a same day visa. In Hartford I had the pleasure of working with Patricia, who handled all my paperwork and helped me put the final touches on. Finally Carlos Silva presented me with mine and my sons visa less than an hour after I arrived. Our once in a lifetime trip is going to be awesome! Alessandra, Patricia and Carlos Muito Obrigado!
